Adult film star Jesse Jane, previously known for her work in the adult entertainment industry, tragically died at the age of 43 in her home in Moore, OK, alongside her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller, according to local station KFOR. Their bodies were found by Moore Police officers after a wellness check when the couple had not been heard from in several days. While it is believed that Jane died from a drug overdose, both deaths remain under investigation. Notably, E! News has reached out to Moore Police for comment on the matter.
In response to Jesse Jane’s passing, President of BSG Public Relations, Brian Gross, expressed that Jane was “a vivacious person who had an absolute and ultimate love for life,” recalling her as an “incredible professional who cheered everyone on and brought sunshine to every film set she worked on.”
In 2003, she signed a deal with adult film studio Digital Playground and appeared in a number of their projects. After transitioning out of the adult film industry, Jesse Jane delved into other ventures, including creating her own line of sex toys. She reflected on her time in the industry, noting its evolution and the changes that have occurred since she first entered the world of adult entertainment. She mentioned, “I got into porn right at the perfect time, when porn stars mattered.” Despite leaving the industry, she shared, “Porn stars back then, they were big, glamorous. You walked into a room, you turned heads. Everybody knew who you were because they actually had to buy your product. The internet killed the business, and now the only people that get noticed are the people who go for shock value.” Additionally, she emphasized her enjoyment of performing and the positive experiences she had on camera.
