She was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in March, and had been documenting her health battle on social media while undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy. Despite the difficult fight, Anna passed away with her family by her side. Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, Anna’s younger sister, shared a touching tribute to her sister, saying, “Anna was a fighter & still is.”
