According to Priestley, they were both broke and lived on Ramen noodles and generic beer, as well as Marlboro Light cigarettes. In his 2015 memoir, Priestley recalled the pair’s struggle while trying to find acting work.
Priestley revealed that he and Brad played a game to see who could go the longest without showering during their time together. He mentioned that back then, Brad could go a long time without showering and would usually win the game. He shared this anecdote while appearing on “Live!
