The HBO series “The Flight Attendant” has been canceled after two seasons. In a statement to, Kaley Cuoco said, “What started out as an attention-grabbing book cover quickly evolved into an extraordinary flight of a lifetime.” She also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play Cassie and conveyed bittersweet emotions at hanging up her Imperial Atlantic uniform.
Creator of “The Flight Attendant,” Steve Yockey, commented on the show’s reception, saying, “Our unorthodox spectacle of a show really found people.” The series, which starred Cuoco as flight attendant Cassie Bowden, has received critical acclaim.
Playing a character like Cassie in “The Flight Attendant” was not easy for Cuoco, especially given her personal struggles during the filming of season two while going through a divorce. Cuoco shared, “It was one of the hardest years of my life.”
