Joey Wright is a retired American professional basketball player. He is currently the head coach of the Adelaide 36ers who play in the Australian-based National Basketball League. He previously was the NBL championship winning coach of the now defunct Brisbane Bullets, and also the similarly defunct Gold Coast Blaze. He played his college ball primarily for the Texas Longhorns after transferring there from Drake. He helped take the Longhorns to the Elite Eight in the 1990 tournament.
