Scott Gregory Shriner is an American bass guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is best known as a member of the alternative rock band Weezer, with whom he has recorded seven studio albums. Joining the band in 2001, Shriner is the band’s longest serving bass guitarist. After leaving the United States Marine Corps, he formed a band called The Seventh Wave and performed with such Ohio-based music groups as The Great Barbeque Gods, Loved By Millions, and The Fever.
